From developing high-performing sporting goods to launching new ventures across multiple sporting industries and tech, Matthew has focused on building brands that stand for integrity, craftsmanship and long-term relationships. Beyond business, Matthew is driven by a vision of creating opportunities for others and leaving a lasting and positive impact on the communities he serves. His entrepreneurial journey – from humble beginnings to leading multiple companies – continues to be fueled by perseverance, continuous learning, and a commitment to giving back through community involvement and philanthropy.

Under Matthew’s leadership, his companies have grown into trusted brands serving customers across the world, and a staple in the American Sporting industry. Patriot Glove Company supplies products to hundreds of collegiate and high school athletics programs, as well as professional athletes and organizations, including Major League Baseball. Equally important to him is using business as a force for good. Through equipment and financial donations, sponsorships, community partnerships and charitable giving, Matthew and his companies contribute tens of thousands of dollars annually to underserved youth, schools, nonprofits, and community organizations in and out of the United States. His belief is simple: “Success is measured not only by what a business earns, but by the positive impact it creates for the people and communities it serves.”

Born on March 26, 1990, in Anaheim, California, Matthew Alleva was raised in a middle-class household alongside his two siblings. His early years were marked by challenges, including leaving high school during his freshman year and spending much of his teenage years headed down the wrong path. Around the age of 20, he made the decision to change the direction of his life, embracing hard work, accountability, and the belief that success is earned through persistence. He spent the next decade working as a professional hunting and fishing guide, where he developed the work ethic and customer-first mindset that would later define his entrepreneurial career. What began as a hobby of crafting and repairing baseball gloves and leather goods gradually evolved into the vision for Patriot Glove Company. Despite uncertainty and moments of doubt, Matthew remained committed to building the business, eventually leaving his guiding career to pursue the company full-time. He traveled countless miles to baseball tournaments and events with little more than a wagon filled with handcrafted products, personally introducing customers to the brand one conversation at a time. That grassroots determination laid the foundation for Patriot Glove Company’s growth and ultimately led to the construction of its first commercial headquarters in 2022.

Never content to stop innovating, Matthew launched Patriot ConX in 2023, expanding into the sports technology industry. The company developed advanced coach-to-player communication systems for baseball and softball, quickly earning widespread adoption and becoming one of the leading brands in electronic pitch-calling technology. Together with Patriot Glove Company and Matty’s Golf, Matthew’s businesses reflect his belief that relentless effort, innovation, and a willingness to take calculated risks can transform humble beginnings into lasting success.

Outside of business, Matthew’s greatest source of pride is his family. He is the father of three children born to him and Ashley; his oldest son, Degan was born in 2007, his daughter Brooklyn was born in 2013, and his youngest son, Porter was born in 2018. Matthew places a strong emphasis on family, character, and leading by example. His Children have distinguished themselves through their dedication to athletics, academic achievements, and the values of hard work, humility, and respect. Whether supporting them from the sidelines, or spending time together on hobbies, Matthew considers fatherhood to be his most meaningful and rewarding role.
